N2 - Climate change has been accelerating in recent years and has changed trends in people’s pro-environmental attitudes and behaviors and in atmospheric variables. In this sense, the objective of this research was to compile information on studies conducted on people’s pro-environmental attitudes related to climate change, since, to date, climate change is undoubtedly the greatest environmental challenge facing the planet’s population. A bibliographic search in the Scopus and ScienceDirect databases and whose research was classified in the SCImago Journal & Country Rank-SJR portal, allowed the selection of 35 original scientific articles in the months of April to May 2021. The results show individual differences in attitudes and behaviors that promote sustainable development and climate change, as well as that pro-environmental attitudes and behavior are positively correlated with education and age. Finally, we discuss the implications for policy design and interdisciplinary research.
