Abstract

Organizational culture, commitment, and work motivation represent key factors that directly influence public management performance. Committed and motivating actions contribute to enhancing the transformative capacity of state institutions. In this context, the general objective was to determine the relevance of organizational culture, commitment, and work motivation in public management. A bibliographic research methodology was used to gather relevant information and analyze conceptual approaches relevant to the topic. This included a critical analysis of 52 publications in scientific journals indexed in Scopus and Scielo, recognized by the global scientific community. This allowed us to identify the impact of various factors involved and their importance in institutional progress. The results obtained provided insight into the level of organization of existing publications on this topic in the aforementioned databases. It was concluded that the research examined has indicated that the multiple aspects linked to organizational culture, commitment and work motivation in public management are of singular importance to the extent that they act as mediating elements for public servants to recognize change, creativity and innovative aspects in an environment that faces permanent reforms in the search for collective prosperity, promoting more humanized entities and geared towards citizen needs.
