Abstract

In this project, we aim to detect gas emissions in the decomposition of Dosidicus gigas through low-cost sound monitoring. Quality Control is a set of activities that verify whether the developed product meets the minimum quality requirements and identifies any problems. This research investigates product quality control and health protection. The Humboldt squid (Dosidicus gigas), also called giant squid, is a large cephalopod mollusk abundant on the Peruvian, Mexican, and Chilean coasts. It is a fast-growing invertebrate with a complex nervous system and a well-developed visual system. The nutritional and health properties of the giant squid are of great importance. The squid or giant squid (Dosidicus gigas) is a crucial fishing resource for Peruvians and other surrounding coasts of other countries. It contributes to solving food and nutritional problems, particularly combating chronic malnutrition and childhood chronic anemia. Therefore, this research focuses on analyzing gas emissions during decomposition through low-cost soundproofing.
