Abstract
In this article, the relationship between the design of tourist routes and the promotion of the material and natural heritage of the Sullana-Peru province was identified, in order to improve the quality of life of the host communities involved in the tourist activity. The study is correlational in nature and it worked with a sample of 399 people from the province of Sullana, with a margin of error of 5%. The results obtained reflected that it is necessary to design tourist routes for the promotion of material and natural heritage, through promotional strategies, such as: social networks, trainings, gastronomic fairs and thematic fairs.
