The transformation processes that are taking place in the business world demand new means to attend to the processes of globalization of markets and changes in the economy, technology and social policies. The objective of the article is to carry out a theoretical approach to the study of information technology for the formation of socio-productive networks. A descriptive theoretical documentary work was carried out, based on the review of bibliographicmaterial. Obtaining as a result a conceptual approach to the conceptualization of information technology and its conditions to facilitate the formation of socioproductive networks; This creates technological and territorial factors for its formation, with social structures and social entrepreneurship being key elements for the organization and stimulation of socio-productive networks in a variety of areas. It is concluded that information technology facilitates the formation and development of Socio-productive networks.
