Resumen
The research has the purpose of analyzing the social opportunities offered by emotional intelligence, since it seeks to eliminate aggressiveness as a cut of human relations for the benefit of fair and equitable coexistence. A case study is carried out in a juvenile reformation center in Piura, Peru. It uses an applied methodology of transectional cut with instrumental design; As a tool, the Salovey and Mayer scale is applied. The descriptive results indicate that the majority of adolescents present deficient levels of interrelation; situation that disposes of violent behavior. It is concluded that successful social insertion strategies dismantle disagreements caused by self-absorption; thus, dialogical competences are intercultural by establishing mediations characterized by tolerance, respect, listening; measure and co-responsibility as important ethical skills.
