N2 - In the Computer System engineering program, most students are afraid to express their ideas and to speak in public. On the other side, the software modeling and analysis course requires that students clearly express software requirements and receive feedback from other groups taking into account different analysis contexts. Due to little interaction in the group and the high rate of course failure from previous semesters, playful learning tools were incorporated in the course, which motivated students to compete healthily and to improve their soft skills by allowing them to express their ideas without being afraid to speak in public and to make mistakes. This strategy has enhanced the learning level and experience in the course, and, as a result, the numbers of approved students has been increased, and their competence of effective communication has been improved as well.
