Resumen
The integration of digital technologies in higher education has driven the need to consolidate effective virtual models, addressing various institutional barriers. In this context, this study aimed to analyze the degree of association between virtual education and university management at a public university in Peru. An applied research study was conducted with a non-experimental, descriptive-correlational design and a quantitative approach. The sample included 195 students from four professional schools, who responded to an attitude scale on both variables. The results showed that 47% of students rated their experience in virtual education as average, 36% as high, and 12% as low. Regarding university management, 52% expressed an average perception, 32% as high, and 10% as low. The correlation analysis indicated a direct and significant relationship between both variables (Spearman’s rho = 0.759). It is concluded that efficient university management favors the implementation of virtual education, making it necessary to strengthen research, social outreach, teacher support and student collaboration to optimize the quality of the training process in digital environments.
